SCHPA Hall of Fame
The 2023 Hall of Fame inductees: None this year.
The Southern California Horseshoe Pitchers Association (SCHPA) Hall of Fame was established in 1970 to honor people for their individual achievements and contributions to the game of horseshoes and the association. Please select current inductees for a listing of the Hall of Fame inductees along with the years they were inducted. Inductees qualify for this honor by satisfying the requirements of at least one of the following three categories:
1. TOP PITCHER -- 60% or above ringer percentage for at least 5 years and/or winner of a State Division and/or World division title.
2. 70+ YEAR OLD PITCHER -- active member over 70 years old who consistently contributed to the sport and association.
3. ORGANIZER -- 10 or more years of dedicated support to SCHPA or Club leadership and horseshoe sport promotion while participating in related activities and/or serving as an officer.
The SCHPA 3rd Vice President presides over the Hall of Fame Committee; and, each year, this committee reviews all nominations submitted prior the the 7 September deadline. The newly approved inductees are announced at the SCHPA Annual Meeting held in November.

Nominate Someone for the Hall of Fame
To nominate an individual for the SCHPA Hall of Fame, complete the Hall of Fame Nomination form and submit the completed form along with any additional nominee information to the SCHPA 3rd Vice President before the annual 7 September nomination deadline. Attend the SCHPA Annual Meeting in November to find out if your nominee has been approved for induction into the SCHPA Hall of Fame!
